Ahmed Khudida is the United Kingdom office director. Ahmed completed his Masters of Science in Immunology at the University of Nottingham, UK, and previously served as the executive director for the Al-Smoqi Charity Organization, a local Yazidi organization which supported the community for over four years.
Rozin Hanjool is a campaign specialist, and the UK manager for Women’s Affairs. A high school student from Coventry, Rozin has advocated for thousands of Yazidi women and girls who were taken captive in the August 2014 attack, launching a campaign on change.org which received wide support from the media and the British public.
Fundraising and Advocacy
Maher G. Nawaf is Yazda’s fundraising and advocacy manager in the UK. Currently undertaking PhD studies at the University of Birmingham, Maher received his MSc in Microbiology in 2005 and has lectured in several Iraqi Universities. Maher is a member of the British Society for Immunology and a supporter of cancer research. After the August 2014 attacks, Maher has prioritized aiding Iraq’s vulnerable Yazidi and Christian minorities.
Salafa Seedo is Yazda medical mission and communication manager in the UK. She is originally from Afrin, Syria living in Leeds, UK. Salafa is a second year student at Leeds City College studying travelling and tourism. A part of her career is working as a resort representative in France. As an effective member of Home Fundraising Limited in Leeds, UK, she is specialist in organising multiple charities events including bungee jump and marathons charities for Anthony Nolan, and NSPCC and Sight Saver charities for Kids. Her current passion is to help Yazidi women and children who are in desperate need.
