On the 19th January and with thanks to Yazda`s Scottish team members, Anna Duncan, Fiona Bennett, Sam Easton and Holly Johnstone, a second successful fundraising dinner was held in Edinburgh to raise awareness of the Yazidi Genocide and celebrate Nadia Murad winning the Nobel Peace Prize.
Thanks to Jamal Ahmed, the owner of Souq, Hanam’s resturant, for hosting the event.

The £5000 raised donations will help us continue in our mission and to assist those ISIS survivors and victims in Iraq through various projects including Case-Management & Psycho-Social Support for ISIS female survivors, Yazda Mobile Medical projects for IDPs and refugees, Genocide Documentation and many other Miscellaneous Projects.
