ZÊD and Yazda are pleased to announce they have entered into a partnership


Through this partnership, Yazda and Zentralrat der Êzîden in Deutschland (ZÊD) will establish a framework for cooperation on different advocacy levels and work together to fight for justice and human rights and pursue collaborative opportunities that would benefit and leverage the missions of both organizations to support the disparate ethnic and religious minorities in all countries where Yazidis live.


The main focus of this partnership will address the following points:

· The recognition of the genocide by the United Nations

· Reconstruction of the original areas of Yazidis (Shingal)

· Legal prosecution of ISIS for violations regarding international law.


Zentralrat der Êzîden in Deutschland e.V. (ZÊD): The Central Council of the Yazidi in Germany was founded on January 29, 2017, with 29 Yazidi associations. Currently, it is considered the main partner of German authorities and consists of 34 registered associations. Thus more than 70% of the Yazidi associations in Germany are members.

Yazda is a global organization that strives to bring justice, sustenance, healing, and rejuvenation to minorities who have suffered under or are affected by, the ISIS genocidal campaign. Yazda was founded by Yazidi students and professionals in response to the genocide that began on August 3, 2014. Yazda is a registered nonprofit in the United States, Germany, Iraq, the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and Australia.
